Daniel, The download-edit-upload part of that is probably going to be a bit of a pain. If you aren't using your own hosting service than http://tiddlyspot.com/ is going to be your best option. There are the step-by-step instructions here Saving on TiddlySpot
TiddlyWiki 5 just came out of its beta stage a few months ago and is relatively new, it is a new version of the ideas from TiddlyWiki classic. You can ignore just about everything else about TiddlyWiki classic as long as you remember that you are using TiddlyWiki 5 and that things for TiddlyWiki classic generally won't work on TiddlyWiki 5. Chrome doesn't play well with offline editing, but if you have been using tiddlywiki in chrome than I assume you know how to deal with that. Some things that aren't particularly clear in the saving on tiddlyspot link above: 1) When you make an account on tiddlyspot it will be using tiddlywiki classic. Ignore that. All you need to worry about are the url for the wiki and the password you used. 2) Open up your local wiki to edit it and in the saving tab of the control panel in your local wiki under where it says TiddlySpot there are two places you need to fill in, Wiki Name and Password. The wiki name is the name you gave setting up your account on tiddlyspot. The url for your tiddlyspot site should be wikiname.tiddlyspot.com, where wikiname is whatever name you gave it, and that is what you need to put in the Wiki Name part of the saving tab. The password is the password you used setting up the account. Once these are entered you should be able to click the save button in the wiki and in the upper left corner a little thing should pop up saying 'starting to save' and then after a second or two is should say 'saved wiki'. This can take a while if you have a large wiki, it sometimes take about 10 seconds for me when the server is being slow. After you have done that open a new tab and go to your tiddlyspot site and it should be the wiki you uploaded. Check to make sure that the password is set in the control panel there and you should be able to edit and save it online without any trouble. Then you can download however you want and edit it locally, then upload using the same method as above. The only reason to download it would probably be if you aren't connected to the internet. TiddlySpot makes backups and you can change the settings to only save when you tell it instead of automatically if you want to edit without putting the changes up online immediately. Just remember to save when you are done or you will lose your work. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
