Hi John Newell, Looking at your ControlPanel I could not see The ReadOnly Plugin. You have some of the tiddlers but maybe miss something, as you do not have the checkbox for the sidebar.
You use some buttons for Home, Introduction and Chapters. If you put your buttons in a ViewTemplate you will not have to repeat your button code in several tiddlers.
