What were they trying to do? The documentation for basic functionality seems to be right there. But it does require people understand a bit about downloading, file structure (to find the downloaded file), and browser plugins. Web-based solutions don't require that knowledge, but then they can't operate off-line either.
The documentation for more advanced topics, on the other hand, is scattered throughout TiddlyWiki.com and not nearly as accessible.
