Although I haven't experienced this particular problem, I have noticed that many times when I load a TW page with multiple input fields, it will show me a mix of both old and new inputs. I have to reload the TW page to get rid of the old inputs. This happens like clockwork on my mobile devices using Firefox. It seems that the browser is keeping bits of the last version of the page in its memory. I suspect that the same thing happens with the encrypted page. Perhaps you could try reloading the encrypted TW file in your browser and see if that clears the old (unencrypted) default tiddlers.
