Hello,

Sorry for my late response. I had some time today and I installed the
following browsers on my Moto G4 phone all of which show exactly the same
behaviour I mentioned in my first post. I tried with:

FireFox
Opera
Opera Touch
Chrome
Brave browser

All of those with the most recent version available today (June 23rd).

As I mentioned I mainly use my TW on the desktop and only once in a while
(weekly) copy the most up-to-date version from my desktop to a cloud
storage (for now Google Drive). I then download the TW file to my phone (so
I do not run it from Google Drive) and in my downloads I use the "open
with" option and after choosing the browser I work with the TW file (mostly
read-only). Alle the above mentioned browsers show the default tiddlers
beneath the green password screen and you can read and scroll them.

Links to internal tiddlers do not work, but links outside the TW file work
without entering a password.

It where all fresh installs or I deleted all private content so there
should be no chaching error. On all those browsers a reload after the
initial page-load did not change anything.

Regards,
JeRoen
