Should work in Advanced Search, Filter without the need for a variable to 
hold the pattern.

^2019090 = 1st to 9th September 2019
^2019091(0|1|2|3|4|5) = 10 to 15th September 2019

 (I have tested it a little. IF you have issues let me know & I'll revise 
it).

Advanced search cannot handle regexp when special characters are used


I think its ONLY the character class *"[...]"* that is a problem in the 
regexp filter. 

I'll comment more in the other thread later.
