You misunderstand my statement. Clearly there are things we *can* do,
or even *ought to* do. However, I'd like to fully understand what we
*have to* do, that is things that, if omitted, will prevent jQuery
plugins from working. As I've said, my assertion is there is nothing
we *have to* do, but I'm very interested in hearing from anyone who
thinks I'm wrong on that point.
