This was a bug. We need to "rethink" the toolbar buttons. The next version 
should have something more powerful. 

The next version will get: 


1 ... Add an additional new-line to every selected line
2 ... Add an angle bracket + a <space> at the beginning of selected lines
3 ... Add a the pattern selected in 5 at the beginning of selected lines
4 ... Remove any pattern from the beginning of the selected lines
5 ... The dropdown to select a pattern eg: 

`.i.c.cs.j.r some text  The whole string at the start of the line can be 
inserted. The user can define new elements that should be part of the 
dropdown. 

This function is similar to the stamp utility. 

I need to make the dropdown more informative. .. But it should be uploaded 
soon.
