Is there a way I can force this? I want empty lines to get a special
character, that is honoured, if at all possible!
- Even if I need an alternate approach, or a special character for it.
- This worked, perhaps as a side effect earlier, but It was a key desire
of mine
- The original idea was that a leading dot created a paragraph, out
of each line (terminated by \n), in this case I assumed empty lines
beginning dot would also be honoured.
- I did state the reason before
- but in short we can apply a .classname to any wiki text character,
and now with tick etc to any line
- *But you are saying "not blank lines", so it is no longer
"any line"!*
- I often harvest text from other sources, I want to be able to
force every line to be a paragraph as they often have unnecessary line
breaks.
- Or more to the point I would like to prefix all lines with a
special character and have a custom element or classnames assigned
to every
line, no exceptions like blank lines.
- I would prefer it to be an option in this solution, because it
makes sense to be there.
- It is a desirable feature for the whole tick solution, for example
- CSS may be included to generate line numbers in a code display,
this means counting blank lines as well.
- I may use this to display an <enter> in a view that shows special
but invisible characters like \n or \n\n as ΒΆ \t and more
- *Not if I can't apply to blank lines?*
yours sincerely
Tony
