It is a TigerVNC problem, because I was following the exact procedure
that you guys added to BUILDING.txt for building FLTK, after you
unceremoniously got rid of the in-tree version of same. I do not have
time to dissect it, and I doubt anyone else does, either. It's a
regression in the build that needs to be fixed by the person who caused
the regression. Whenever I ran into this problem, I gave up and went
back to the 1.2 code base that I know works. trunk is unusable on Mac
until this is resolved.

Not that simple, because often several patches (one for each platform)
are required from a particular patch page. You're really deflecting the
issue, here. I'm saying that I, as an expert on this software, had
trouble figuring it out. I did finally figure it out, but even when I
did, it still didn't work on Mac. That represents a regression vs. 1.2.
Either you care about it or you don't, but don't stare me in the face
and tell me that it isn't an issue. Given that I'm not involved in this
project anymore, I am reporting this as a courtesy. You can either
choose to throw it back in my face, ignore it, or do something about it.
Which you choose has no bearing on my success, but it has some bearing
on yours. Choose wisely.
