And since the captionless layer is meant to be scaled down it probably uses different styles anyway. It probaly would improve the appearence of the low zoom levels if we were rendering a few more captionless-lowzoom layers like captionless-z6 which would be meant to be scaled down to z6 for example. This would allow to remove more details from the lower zoom levels.
