Got mine going with a 15 volt 3 amp supply from an old Toshiba. That and 5 volts.
It took about 32 minutes to make lock. Before that it was cycling between about +75 and -200 Hz. The FE-5680A 10 MHz is now off by .002 Hz compared to the Thunderbolt. I placed a magnet on the case. It appears I can fine tune the frequency by adjusting the position and rotation of the magnet.
