Check if there's a separate pair of degaussing wires coming from the tube and heading to the rear panel of the instrument. That would make a total of 6 coil wires. I remember that the degausser product that drove the degaussing coil was a very low priority because Len Cutler et al insisted that it was unnecessary to degauss the CBT, at least in the 5071A. It finally got produced just to satisfy a few customers who believed they wanted it.
