I was noticing that 65.98.80.68 has an offset of over -100 ms (by NTP standards, disastrously bad) for the last few hours, yet http://www.pool.ntp.org/scores?ip=65.98.80.68 reports it as "good".
Not even "offset is tolerable", but "ok". What is the standard? If I were pulling numbers out of the air, I'd call under 10-15 ms "good", and under 30-50 ms "tolerable", and beyond that "bad". Also, that server's configuration is wierd... There are 5-10 duplicates of several time servers in there, all with distinct association variables. And lots of offsets in excess of 1 second. Is there a way to get in touch with the administrator of that server and suggest he have a look at his configuration? _______________________________________________ timekeepers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://fortytwo.ch/mailman/cgi-bin/listinfo/timekeepers
