You do have to have good ipv6 capable firewalls or it isn't worth 
considering.. but that's true of routed ipv4 too.

If you've ever used multiple IP blocks you'll know the difference - it's 
just easier to manage.  No mucking around with port forwarding, upnp, 
any rubbish like that - each machine can have its own firewall rules.

For random devices, well... let's just say NAT has its place.  If I had 
an IPV6 enabled toaster I would definately NAT it at the router.
