yeah... but for the strat2 servers i have no choice. they must remain as they 
are with linux/gpsd. the only thing i can do for them which i have not even 
attempted is to fine tune them by carefully selecting some good servers. the 
initial 12 i chose for use in all servers were randomly selected by the 
number of hops i had to get to them in a traceroute.
