Thanks for the clarity and very interested to see it in the core. However this 
reveals an even bigger problem, that your code always remains legacy code and 
the community has absolutely no control over it.

Poweremail has had several improvements since you have forked it. Even on 
version 6 (not by me, by Raphael Valyi & Co.). So IMHO, Open ERP restricts the 
contributions/improvements by locking down the code. Over and above, you take 
the unnecessary pain of doing all that you want to do within your employees to 
establish your copyright? Had, you created a blueprint for this you would have 
got the same development done by the community. Open ERP definitely has a large 
community, but as a project leader you are not tapping the potential 
effectively.

I guess you need to educate your programmers on programming with ethics and 
values, and definitely on how to respect copyright. 

BTW copyrights on poweremail code states as though I forked poweremail. Your 
copyright is only since 2010, NOT from 2004-2010 on poweremail.
