Although I'm quite new here... To me especially this thread, but also the new position of a Community Manager, the OpenDays and so on create the impression, that Tiny starts to pay more attention for us as "The Community".
Removed Copyright informations are hopefully things that happened only in the past (and maybe systematic back then) - but if things change we should accept the will of Fabien to change things like that to a better, a more honest behavior. I HOPE this is the case and that we will see more improvents in that direction in the future. If OpenERP spreads around the globe Tiny wil not be able to verify each local adoption (what are the tax laws in Madagaskar or the billing laws in Nepal?). Tiny will have to accept some day that the way they do it now reduces the potential of the system. They create a bottleneck in the developent, because they can't do everything anytime. So maybe now right now, but within the next year(s) we will find we are not Locked In any more. From my point of view that is the only consequent possibility to fill FREE as in FREEDOM with life. Thanks for all ulsc ------------------------ - was testing OpenERP end of 2009 - now waiting for 5.2/6.0 since Dec. 2009 - bored of waiting - -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=61188#61188 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman2/listinfo/tinyerp-users
