I completely agree with you on this, as I noted absuletly the same - just as 
the certification idea appeared. It seems, that all of that is going to happen. 
This is clear policy of lockin. And the freedom in this case is "as in pocket".

Fabien are depressing transparent circulation of information (in case of 
updates of software and copyright statements), providing community and general 
public with bended truth and disinformation. Completely ignoring the 
fundamentals and principles of FOSS. The policy and statements (and their 
inconsistency) is getting more and more look alike to those from the big old 
proprietary software corps.

Unfortunately general public is unable to follow all the statements and glue 
them together to find out what is the reality.

Still I am pleased that more and more community members are noticing the real 
situation.
