I've snipped the other criteria for the sake of brevity. But considering all of the criteria, I begin to suspect that the good doctor just isn't really all that interested in writing letters of recommendations. (Or at least wants to minimize the number written.) How many of you have ever written a pretty good letter of recommendation for a student who never earned an "A" in one of your classes?
