Allen, you're making my point. Einstein, Austin, Rubinstein, Beckam
according to Gardner would be emphasizing different intelligences that
result in different manifestations: logical, linguistic,
musical/rhythmic, bodily-kinesthetic. It seems to me you're throwing
around your terms--intelligence, skill, apitutde--in a way that is serving
your preconceptions and making shadows into substance.

It seems to me what you call "right names" are most aptly called
"traditional names." As Obi-Wan-Kenobi said, "Many of the truths we cling
to depend greatly on our point of view."

It also seems to this "layman" that you haven't defined your terms. So,
I'll ask, what do you mean by an intelligence? What do Gardner and
Goleman say they mean by intelligence.

Make it a good day.
