My suggestion might be (still in the thinking out loud stage) to reinforce the
mature, respectful behavior of those on the final exit roll (if even with a comment of
recognition and appreciation). I've had a situation in one of my classes that has
left me considering options in classroom management.
Reflect on what we know about operant conditioning, learning environments, and
compromising our own immune systems...
(and the necessity of a prereq. Psych 1 for Abnormal imho)
I'm feeling your pain.

Subject: A logical consequence for disrespect

I am furious and do not want to let this go unconsequenced. For sure, there are some
conditions endemic to this course that promote this sort of thing. For one thing,
unlike many other schools, we do not require Psych 1 for people who take abnormal,

I am seeking feedback about the logic and wisdom of this idea. I want to give some
kind of consequence. If you don't think my idea is good, I would appreciate any
suggestions for a better one.
