Yes, well, Michael, I'm hoping for a little more for my student than
being able to "carve out a living for themselves." Medieval stone
masons carved out a living for themselves (literally!) but I like to
think I offer my students a little more than that. Pretentious me!
And there's a lot of carving going on in Africa right now, but I'm
not sure that living is the result.
