I have a policy that prohibits emailed assignments. I want to mark the
paper version and return the paper version to them marked. I do allow
emailed assignments in emergencies (usually the student is sick and
wants to turn in the paper on time). So I have some emailed papers every
semester but not the overwhelming rush that I had before this policy.

Hi, All --
Quick question: is anyone else getting annoyed at the number of students
who email assignments to you, leaving you to do the printing and
stapling?
I am considering a "no emailed assignments" policy, but just wonder if
I'm being school-marmish and mean.
Do you regularly allow students to do this?
Thanks for any help you can provide. I don't want to turn into a bitter
old man.
