I use it sometimes. I teach Theories of Personality, and one of the chapters is
devoted to the Buddhist concept of the person. Since the material is derived
mostly from the Sufi tradition, I show a YouTube vid of whirling dervishes. For
my development classes, I found a great one ("Colic Anyone?") that shows a very
cranky baby (think "difficult temperament"), but the text at the beginning of
the video makes it clear that the child grew up to be a normal kid
("goodness-of-fit"). I have taken to searching YouTube on occasion, if I want
some "AV" demonstration of something but don't have a professional video.

Do any of you use YouTube in your classes?

I do not, but had a student who sent me a video and suggested it would
enhance a certain class topic.

I've been hearing anecdotal reports about professors who are using video
segments, but you know how invalid ancedotes are.
