Way back in the mid-fifties, a study was done that concluded the average
American would
read less than one whole book for pleasure in her or his life time.

Way back in 1926, a huge protest arose against radio with the claim that it was
corrupting
people's willingness to read and would consequently destroy their imagination.
It's the
same outcry that was heard against that "boob tube" called television as it
became popular
in the mid fifties. And, now comes the computer.

Make it a good day.
