Have you observed that most nobel prizes are awarded for ideas and discoveries that will benefit mankind? Whether if it is in econ(Paul Krugman-my favorite economist)),medicine,physics,peace,and the others,they assume some benefits to improving human like on the planet. So Psychology,where are you? I guess we are not get getting any prizes because our purported scientific study of behavior has not produce discoveries and ideas to benefit mankind,eh! I understand though that someone got a prize for the lobotomy procedure but it was in medicine. If Joseph Wolpe had used his Systematic desensitization method to desentize masses of his white South African bigots he perhaps could have gotten a prize.
