RE: Short Term Memory. I still use phone numbers and zip codes as examples of how psychological principles are used in "real life" (emails and passwords may work well now, since most require 8 characters or less). Also, social security numbers are a good example of chunking. Another great demo for chunking is "IBM STD FBI USA IRS FDA".
