I would much appreciate some feedback about an administrative
teaching matter which has become a very sticky issue for our
psychology department.
Is anyone offering any distance learning courses at your campus? If so,
are faculty given special compensation for creating or administering
distance courses (or for both)?
What sort of compensation: money, released time? How much?
We here are just beginning to contemplate such courses, and we have
begun talks with our administration to answer such questions for
ourlselves. Our eventual answers will depend in part on current
practices.
