Linda Walsh asked about memorable class activities,

One of the most powerful - in terms of impact on students and student learning -
activities I tried this year was a demonstration of institutional racism. The
demonstration was described in Teaching of Psychology, Vol.25 (3), 1998 by Sandra
Lawrence. The task was for small groups to build a mobile. Groups were given
different resources to work with and then examined their experience.
