Linda,
        When my General Psychology class got to the physiology section we
played out a skit of an action potential traveling down an axon.  Each
student in my class got to play a part, from the dendrites down to the
flexing muscle.  We videotaped the skit and some colleagues have even used
the video in their General Psychology class.  The students had a great
time and from the results of their first exam they learned something about
action potentials.
