Just a few points: (1) Chris Green was the person who started the thread, not I. (2) I didn't know I was off the PESTS list. Thanks for letting me know. (3) Since you say that the discussion was "a week or so ago", is it fair to say that the discussants had a Bem-like knowledge of the future for the Forbes article published on July 1 and the Chronicle article published on July 6? If so, the PESTS should try to publish the experience in a social psych journal. (4) Since people who are both on TiPS and PESTS discussed this, I guess you're saying that people who are only on TiPS don;t want to discuss it. Hmmm. An interesting example of bystander apathy, don't ya think? (5) So, since this issue was thoroughly discussed on PESTS, anyone want to provide a summary so that non-PESTS can benefit from your discussion? -Mike Palij New York University [email protected] --- You are currently subscribed to tips as: [email protected].
