I live in an area where the local cable company offers a TiVo-like digital video recorder (SA 8300 & SA 8300HD). There is a Yahoo group for the cable service. Ninety percent (90%) of the posts are complaints about the problems with the DVR service.
I believe the TiVo hardware and software are superior to the SA 8300 judging from he complaints... While this group concerns itself with the TiVo, complaints about the feature functionality and utility of TiVo do not dominate this forum...
