A related question:

I don't have an HD unit, but I do have the Tivo Dual Tuner.. My question is
how you find out what was deleted when your box does get filled up? For
instance on Christmas day I was gone all day and they decided last minute, (I
am assuming last minute because it wasn't listed in the 'upcoming recordings'
list when I left on Christmas Eve) they decided to run a marathon of a show I
record, so of course it recorded 10 hours of reruns that I wasn't planning on..
When I got home both the tivo suggestions and the recently deleted folders were
on zero.. But I want to know which of my shows got deleted! I have run into
this problem before and the 'recording history' is useless because you have to
go all the way back to when the program was recrded for it to tell you it was
deleted, and I am NOT going to scroll back through months of history to try and
find something that was deleted.. There must be an easier way, right? Otherwise
I don't know what programs to tell my TIVO to
 search for again..

Thank you so much for your help!

TiVo doesn't have any free-space meter. The best way to keep track is
to leave TiVo Suggestions on and keeps Groups turned on in the Now
Playing List. Since Suggestions are always deleted first, as long as
there are Suggestions recorded that's free space.
