It is a pain since I offten times record the Shows that air every day on cable,
('Grounded for life' for instance) and since they come on twice a day, and I
only watch about 3 per week, they stack up until it cycles around to the pilot
episode again, at wich time I cancel the season pass and just watch the series
at my leisure.. When my tivo gets unexpectedly filled up and I lose one of
these episodes I have no way of knowing and it will never record again because
the season pass is deleted.. I know this is in no way life changing to miss one
or two episodes in a series, but it is annoying, especially since it should be
an easy fix to have the history note the deletion at the time it is deleted
rather than way back at the time it was recorded.. Who in their right mind is
going to scroll back through months of recordings to see if they can spot
which, (if any) of the shows were deleted?

Since we're on the subject.. I noticed a handfull of annoying changes on the
last software update, (November??) I can't think of them off hand except for
the most annoying of all is that while scrolling through the 'to do' list I
used to just hit 'clear' when I came across a program that was schedualed to be
recorded but I didn't want it to record. That would clear it from the 'to do'
list and I would continue scrolling through the program list.. Ever since the
upgrade though if I hit the 'clear' button it deletes the recording from 'to
do' list but then it sends me all the way back to the top of the 'to do' list!
Drives me crazy since I then have to scroll back down and try to find out where
I left off.. So now I am forced to open the program and chose to 'cancel only
this episode'.. Again, I know it's not a huge deal, but it is annoying! Ruined
a perfectly good shortcut! There were about three or four other shortcuts that
don't work anymore, just that I always used the
 'clear' one..

Unfortuately, no, that's it. For those who don't know:

Go into the To Do List (Hit '2' in TiVo Central). The first item is
'View Recording History'. You can scroll back a ways in there and any
shows that have been deleted, for any reason, are labeled as
'Deleted'.

There is no list of deleted programs to check, etc.

The good news is that if the TiVo self-deletes something due to space
constraints, that program is flushed from the 28-day timer and it will
re-record it if it airs again within the window.
