I use courier imap with qmail and works fine. I have sqwebmail and squerell
(spelling :)

Again I have been using qmail with imap and tmda for server years now.

Squeriell mail, Horde will work with qmail and TMDA as far as I know.
In fact I did use horde for a long time with qmail but not with tmda.
