I think it's a great idea. I rarely use my Horde/IMP installation anymore because I haven't put together the SMTP-AUTH stuff to make it work with tmda-ofmipd. This idea would allow messages to be sent from clients that aren't configured to use tmda-sendmail or tmda-ofmipd, just as long as the Message-ID contains a string that can be matched. Would it be possible to match multiple strings?
