I attempted to reproduce this by running the following interactively,
and pasting in a valid message:

tmda-sendmail [EMAIL PROTECTED]

But, I got an exception printed to the screen, and tmda-sendmail's exit
code was 1 (all as expected). Do you know the exact command-line that
mutt uses?
