There was a specific and good reason why I chose to just 'pass' on tmda-sendmail -f, but I can't recall what it is at the moment. Keep in mind though that it's been that way for 5 years and no one has had a problem with it, so I don't think it's a bug. This is a separate issue than your tmda-ofmipd patch though, which does correctly fix a bug. With your patch, the sendmail behavior with pure proxy correctly matches Util.sendmail() which tmda-inject uses.
