I too see my neurologist every 3 - 4 months. Even sooner if we're changing medications.

My next appt. is 6/27 for my neuro and 6/29 for my PCP. I had PT/OT in the hospital along with 6 month outpatient PT/OT. I had 7 PLEX treatments in the hospital along with 4 over 2 month as outpatient. I can't believe that either you PMR or PCP hasn't referred you to a neurologist. My PCP won't do anything unless it is passed by the neuro. This also applied to the PT/OT. Where do you live? I think I would be screaming to see a neuro. Have you been to see Dr. Kerr or anyone else other specialist? Dr. Kerr at least concurred with my neuro. Both were happy with the PLEX results that I experienced but not everyone has experienced - so? I too have a lesion at C4 to T2 along with T10 to T12. The T area has improved but not the C areas BUT they aren't worse. Prayers, blessings and thoughts for you. I have only seen the neurologist once since I let the hospital, which was in November 2005. My healthcare is managed by my Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctor(Physiatrist). Any problems that I have had since my diagnosis in July 2005, has been handled by my primary care physician or my physiatrist. My neurologist was key in diagnosing my condition, but once I was diagnosed and received plasmapheresis, the only thing that would help me after that was therapy (which I am still trying to get more of). I haven't ran into any issues, where my neurologist was needed. Naomi C-4 quad since July 2, 2005 _____ See what's free at AOL.com <http://www.aol.com?ncid=AOLAOF00020000000503> .
