Another Question - I am going, on Monday, to my pain management doc to have shots injected to help control, and sometimes temporarily eliminate, nerve pain. I only do this when the pain is really bad enough to make me fall. Yesterday I fell twice on ceramic tile - left quite a bump on my head. There is no warning when my legs will collapse. I do use my nerve stimulator and it helps tremendously to strengthen my legs by covering much of the pain, but every once in a while it gets bad enough to need the shots. They last about 3 months.
How many of you receive shots for pain management and how long do they work for you? Janice
