The last visit I had to my provider, she gave me two steroid shots in my lower back one on each side and it has been a God-send. I cannot believe how it helped and is still helping after about 6 weeks!! Linda, mine are steroids - different kinds. It helps the sharp nerve pain going down my legs. The doc gives it to me in my lower back and it goes down to lower calf. They use different things on me depending on where the pain is. I know you were asking Ella, but I jumped in too. It is my pain management doc who does this.
