Catherine, that is really great. How often do you get your shots?

I also have had these shots of steroids and they were a God
send! I went from being bed ridden to being able to walk with a cane or
walker.

Love and prayers to our TM family,
                    Catherine

The last visit I had to my provider, she gave me two
steroid shots in my lower back one on each side and it has been a God-send. I
cannot believe how it helped and is still helping after about 6 weeks!! Jeanne

Thanks Janice - I've never been to a pain management
doc. Hmm, guess I still have a lot to learn. Thanks for the info. Linda

Linda, mine are steroids - different kinds. It
helps the sharp nerve pain going down my legs. The doc gives it to me
in my lower back and it goes down to lower calf.
They use different things on me depending on where the pain is.
I know you were asking Ella, but I jumped in too.
It is my pain management doc who does this. Janice

I think I may have missed a post so sorry if this has
already been answered. Ella, what "medicine" is in the shots? I've never
heard of getting shots for the pain. I might want some of that!

                          Ella,
Where is the pain located that you got the 2 shots
for? Also, where were the shots given? Janice

I had 2 shots before Christmas but for me the pain
diminished slightly for about a month and then again it was winter and the
temps here are in the single digits.
