I just got shots in my back today. My nerve pain was so bad I was falling - I could barely walk. It is already better this evening and I hope it will improve even more in the next week or so. It usually does, but I know with my shots, they will help only a certain length of time and that will be it for the shots. Some last a few weeks and some last years. Hope we are one of the lucky ones! Janice ----- Original Message ----- From: Catherine To: Janice ; Transverse Mylitis Group Sent: Monday, July 13, 2009 12:02 PM Subject: Re: [TMIC] Nerve Pain
Janice,
I get shots every 3 months, when needed. That to my
knowledge is the usual time frame. I need to make it clear that I was not
paralyzed .... I was bedridden due to chronic pain. I was totally unable to
care for myself. These steroid shots were a blessing.

Catherine, that is really great. How often
do you get your shots?
