Hi Regina,
The symposium was in Dallas, and about 150 TM'ers and their caregivers
attended, which made it a success. I met Linda from Idaho there, Todd Tarno
and Cora were there. Those were the only people that I recognized from the
tmic list.

It will take a few weeks for the videographers to edit the talks, but Jim
will be posting them online at the TMA website as soon as they are
available. What was special about this one was that about a half dozen kids
with TM and their parents attended, and the kids all made fast friendships,
and given lots to do by our pediatric nurse, Janet Dean, who is from Kennedy
Krieger in Baltimore. It is really hard for young ones to keep still and
not get bored while sitting and listening to the doctors talk about
bowel/bladder management, spasticity issues, optic neuritis, and all the
other issues that we face.

Stay posted, I am sure that Jim will notify the list once the videos are
available.
Take care,
Debbie

Subject: [TMIC] Symposium

I haven't heard anything about the Austin, TX symposium.
Any comments? Was it productive? Can we access any reporting online like
we did before?
