Hi,
You are moving outside,Suddenly You a got a call that
someone urgently need blood with some X group and it
does'nt matches your group.How do you react? Do you
call all your friends and asks them for their blood
group?
Please go thru below.
Three days back when we were in a marriage reception,
my friend Ravi got a call from his office at 11:00 PM
regarding the requirement of A-ve blood.His
collegue's uncle was undergoing an operation and he
required 3 bottles of A-ve Blood by the next
morning.My friend's group is A-ve and he was ready for
donation.They required another two bottles of blood.He
asked me but my blood group is A+ve.We asked one or
two friends who were around at that time, but none of
their's matched. Ravi's collegue went thru
"friendstosupport.org" (This site maintaines the list
of blood donors and is started with a desire to help
the society.) and contacted all the donors in that
site but none of them were ready.I also tried to
contact all of my friends but i hesitated to call them
since it was 11:00 pm.That too i didnt know exactly
whose blood group is A-ve.The next day Ravi's collegue
managed to get blood in right time.
But later on i was thinking that, in emergency
situations if at all anyone requires blood, how to
identify the right person immidiately that whose blood
will matches?
One is maintaining a list of friend's blood groups in
the system....But.If system not available at that
palce?
Next one is searching for donors in the net or
contacting blood banks...Getting blood from Blood
banks is not possible always.In my experience, i have
seen that most of us will not be interested to donate
blood if unknown person askes us.
So i was thinking and thinking... and got one
solution.I have about 200 friends numbers in my mobile
list.I cannot contact all of them that whose blood
group matches.If we can store their blood group also
just beside their name in the mobile, we can easily
contact the exact person in the right time.
So i have started asking my friend's blood groups to
store in my mobile along with their names.Do You? Some
of us might have already doing like this or thru some
other means, but i have got this idea now and wanted
to share this with all.
