Phobia is not funny for those who has phobia but for others it is funny.
I have roller coaster's phobia. Smaller ones are OK but the bigger ones in that Disney or 6 Flags. It is not that I fear of height or the speed I don't like that gravitation less feeling. My wife is reverse. She always make fun of me. -- Prasad
