Hi Karthik and others,

Thank you for the response and interest.

Today Sai garu (Nokia's site manager)spoke with me.

He explained me various scenarios that can happen and their past
experiences. Also he emphasized the necessity of doing lot of ground
work.

What he opines is, if at all we take up a case, we should take full
responsibility and we should talk to the family:
1. Do they do her marriage or do they allow her to study and get
employment

Also we should be able to guide her, groom her, motivate her etc., It
is just like taking a responsibility as such that we do it for our
own family member, a sort of adoption.

He has given few examples:
1. A guy who cleared IAS exam
2. A girl who got many offer letters for a pay of more than 50k and
who is opting for US University Scholorship for MS program

If we wish to commit, we should talk to the girl/any student in
detail, analyse her and then if we feel she is worth of all our
efforts, then we should groom her.

He has also given the examples of a boy who ran away from the hostel
and also a girl who developed all sorts of bad habits.

So it is not so easy.

After listening to him, I felt very discouraged. So I think we need
very good discussion on it and we need people who can commit and also
be good enough in guiding and counselling. We all should do it
collectively.

It is not the case of medical help or running medical camps or just
providing financial support.

Ofcourse Sai garu and other members of Satya Sai Seva Dal helps us,
but we should be very committed and dedicated.

Lot need to be done here. Are we fit enough to take up? Please
advice. Personally I am doing very serious introspection and to be
frank a bit negative of our competency in dealing with/working for
this cause.

Thank you.

miss the opportunity to start on time.
