Hello Prasanthi garu,

Its seems you are thinking very much in deapth.
What I feel is we can only help those who are really
interested in pursuing further studies by financial
support to some extent and moral support now and
then.

Here I have summarized my views and openions regarding
educational support.

1.What we expect from them?

Just a good citizen who in turn may be capable of
supporting others in future. That is enough for our
satisfaction.

Ofcourse being in constant touch with them we can
advise them and mould their career to some extent.
We can never expect what she/he would be in future.
Only thing we can do is we have to choose such a
person, who have genuine interest to pursue studies
but unable to do because of several reasons.

2.What if they develop bad habits?

This too, at this stage, we cant predict. But a
responsible person will never do that. Whome ever we
help they are going to be our members.
Then why to worry?

we should not give them any extra money which they
never want.
We just make them to ask us for the their needs just
like our brothers or sisters do. Only after evaluation
we can sanction them.
We should be in touch with them, Just like a brother
or sister we should encourage them at all points.

This kind of care will never allow them to do some
thing bad.

3. Funding.

I think It will be nice if we have a seperate fund
for educational supports. A portion of monthly funds
or special amounts which people would like to provide
for the same.

By having that we can plan how far we can support
them depending on their necessities.

Finally, Supporting kids - its doesnt rise any such
questions.

In the case of this girl, we can support her
financially but can you enquire about her family
situation, what I feel is her parents too should be
interested otherwise it will be very problematic.
please check this.

With Regards
Gopi Krishna
