As usual, very few members turned up. I didn't expect the regular members to
participate but I anticipated the presence of new members. Unfortunately
they didn't come.

These are the participants: Krishna Nag, Prasanthi, Sundar, Srinivas,
Kasyap. Srinivas came with his friend Nagarjuna but I feel he got bored. I
think he just accompanied Srinivas.

We discussed on Old Dress Distribution and Medical Campaigns.

*Old Dress Distribution:*

We collect dresses from people who wish to give their old clothes. A
condition is that they should give the dresses in good condition, washed,
stitched and ironed.

Please collect from your relatives and you can give it in Sundar's hospital
or in my home.

Kasyap, Ratan and Sundar will concentrate on distributing babies dresses of
age below 3 years.

We can give them in slums where Dr. Sundar is conducting medical camps.

*Medical Campaign:*

Dr. Sundar told that Arogya Bharathi an organization that conducts medical
camps created a formula of nutritious food for slum children. There are
proofs of the change in the children before and after taking the nutritious
diet.

They have been conducting camps in Syamalakunta. They wanted to adopt Karmik
Nagar as well.

We will do awareness campaigns in the guise of free health check-ups. We
attract people in the name of free health check-ups and we will explain them
about various diseases and how we can prevent them.

*Doing it in slums and various colonies:*

First - we will take the consent and schedule of doctors - who can spare
which weekend.
Second - we will take the consent of the colony associations to conduct a
free camp and take their help in publicizing the news - to inform every
household in the colony.
Third - we will allocate volunteers for the activity to assist doctors

*Responsibility:*

Kasyap will take the responsibility of collecting literature about various
diseases from Red Cross.

We can plan to prepare small pamphlets and distribute.

Arogya Bharathi has a list of service minded doctors who serve poor patients
free of cost. When these people identify serious cases, they refer them to
particular doctors by writing a letter of recommendation. Thats how serious
cases have been taken care of.

But for these activities to sustain, we need volunteers and also there is a
greater need to form as teams. Responsibility rests with particular
team/team lead and the communication should be through them. They should
update the group about the activities of the team.
